Online forex brokerage giant ATFX will once again
sponsor the annual international golf series, The Duke of Edinburgh Cup, UK
Qualifying Event 2024. This tournament originated in the UK and has
expanded into a global sports tournament. Since it was established in 2000, the
event has reportedly raised over £5.3 million for charitable causes
benefiting young people worldwide.

The Duke of Edinburgh Cup events have taken place in
more than 24 countries, helping children and young people overcome hardships
and lead better lives, ATFX mentioned. In each event, the hosting country crowns its national
champion, who competes in the World Finals in England.

Weems Chan, ATFX‘s Global Head of Marketing,
mentioned: “We are excited to once again partner with the Duke of
Edinburgh Cup 2024, and the first time in Cape Town, South Africa. For the past
6 years, ATFX has been a proud supporter of this wonderful event, which raises
funds to help young people and children in need in different countries and has
gone towards making a real difference in their lives.”

“It’s an honor to be part of the meaningful golf
events again, which are supported by HRH, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh,
who empowers youth and gives back to the community.”

The tournament follows handicap rules in the Stableford
style, adhering to R & A or USGA rules.
Qualifiers from each event, funded by the tournament, advance to the finals week, which includes a welcome dinner, three rounds of golf, and a black-tie prize-giving
dinner at Windsor Castle.

Supporting Communities Globally

ATFX has expanded its reach to support communities
worldwide. The company believes in the importance of caring for the next
generation, making its partnership with The Duke of Edinburgh Cup a natural
fit.

On October 21, 2023, the Turkey Qualifiers took place
at the Gloria Golf Club Belek in Antalya. As the event’s official partner,
ATFX’s Chairman Joe Li and Managing Director Wei Qiang Zhang attended and
engaged with local dignitaries and participants. This event was particularly
significant as it raised funds for children and young people affected by the
devastating February 2023 earthquake in Turkey.
